The Wild Bushfoods recipe competition is a chance for local cooks to try out a recipe using bushfoods, wildfoods and other local produce on a panel of professional judges.
With a focus on creative use of ingredients, the Wild Bushfoods recipe compeition is a chance for local cooks to shine by revamping an old recipe or coming up with something wild and new!
This year sees some exciting changes to the competition…

Wildfoods- food now obtainable ‘in the wild’, native or introduced
Local produce- foods harvested/grown in the local region
