Welcome to ‘Alice on the Menu’!

For the month of September local restaurants and eateries will be showcasing the use of Wildfoods, Bushfoods and other local produce of Central Australia by featuring a ‘Festival Dish’ on their menu. To enjoy the flavour sensations on this years ‘Festival Dish’ tasting trail pick up a map from Tourist Information or any participating restaurant.

There are prizes to be won!…

After discovering the unique  ‘Festival Dish’ flavours ask the restaurant staff for a Festival Dish Review sheet. Turn the tatse-bud inspiration you just experienced into a creative poetic review and you’ll be in the running to win a fantastic ‘Poetry of Food’ award.  Complete the review by rating the chef’s dish in the scoring boxes to give your favourite ‘Festival Dish’ a chance to win the beautiful ‘People’s Plate’ award in this years Alice On The Menu.. a wild bushfoods flavour celebration!
